Since BCLC is open the whole year (except for major holidays and weather closures), Progress Reports are conducted Quarterly:
1st Quarter (March)
2nd Quarter (June)
3rd Quarter (September)
4th Quarter (December)
Parents will recieve physical copies of the progress reports every three months.
Created for Annual Teacher Appreciation Week, BCLC would like to create a consistent culture of teacher appreciation by recognizing amazing teachers! We want to encourage Parents and Managment to recognize teachers by telling a story of how the teacher made a difference in their life! Every teacher who is recognized will receive their student's story and will be publicly recognized at the school and website (with consent). The recognition will also serve as a nomination for the New BCLC Annual Teacher of the Year (which will be held in December).
Welcome to the Blandi Child Learning Center Community! We all know how overwhelming it can feel to start some place new, and sometimes just having that one connection can make a world of difference. Please complete this form to help us match you with a BCLC Family.
Blandi's would like to try something new! The goal is to gather 5 to 10 parent volunteers that reflect our diverse community, who would communicate regularly to reflect on and discuss: (1) The evolving needs, concerns, and hopes of our community (2) PA activities, events, communications, etc. in order to consider issues of access, inclusion, and equity. We understand that many of us are already stretched quite thin with all the stress of the current circumstances, and we want to try to make it possible for anyone who wants to be involved to do so in a way that fits with what they are able to give.
*BCLC Families Network*
· Contact Class Teachers to introduce yourself and seek their input on how you can best support them.
· Organize one social event (Virtual or outdoor, socially distanced) for the students in the class.
· Organize monthly check-in for parents in your class to get to know one another, share concerns/resources/ideas.
· Check-in with your teacher once a month by email to ask if they need any support and to share concerns/suggestions from parents.
· Recruit parent volunteers for all Fests and other events as needed.
BCLC Teachers have started an Amazon Wish List to help with resources of materials for their classroom. These items are not mandatory but would be of great help to environmental development of children. Thank you for your support, the children will appreciate it so much!
We would love to hear your thoughts or feedback on how we can improve your experience!
